Nepal Hiking Passes means that the trekkers have to pay for any National Park entry fees for either individual or group trekkers. The passes can be bought at the check post en route and must be shown to the following check posts or police on request until trekkers exit the National Park boundary.
When the trekkers head to Everest Base Camp, they must pay the local Government tax along with Sagarmatha National Park hiking passes.
Before heading to the Annapurna Conservation Project Area, trekkers must obtain hiking passes in Kathmandu or Pokhara.
There are several short and long treks in the Annapurna Conservation Area. However, the Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Sanctuary Trek are more popular and cover a wider Area.
