We absolutely loved our visit to Nepal. We visited in March to Early April 2016. We highly recommend High Camp Trekking. The route we chose was EBC (Everest Base Camp). Our guide was Sanjay Lama (Norsang’s brother). For our family of 5 (with childern 9, 13, and 15) we had 3 porters (Furi, Pasang, Jungbu) plus Sanjay our guide. Jungbu hiked with us and it worked out great to have an additional helper on all the hiking days. Sanjay and Norsang came to meet us the day before we flew to Lukla to talk about the trip and took us to get last minute items in Thamel. On the trek we stayed at good tea houses and always had good opations for food at each location. We were a unique group in that we had children. We did not see many children on the trek, but we felt confident with our guide and the schedule they planned with days worked in to acclimate to the high altitude. We did experience some illness and some high altitude issue, but the flexibility of the schedule helped us and we were able to successfully make it to Everest Base Camp and back safely and within the time we had planned.
