A trekking adventure in Nepal was one of the most awaited moments of our round the world trip. Before we left for out travels a friend gave us Norsang’s contact and told us to get in touch with him should we need a guide in Nepal. We trusted our friend’s advise and decided to do the Annapurna Base Camp Trek with High Camp Trekking in April 2014. The contact with Norsang was smooth and efficient. Even before meeting him we could tell we were dealing with a very professional person. Norsang picked us up from the Airport and then let us in the hands of Sanjay, his older brother and our guide for the trek, and Rejendra, our young and super fit porter. Together with Sanjay and Rajendra we spent 13 wonderful days. The trek was absolutely amazing. Every day of the trek was perfectly organized, the lodges were clean and comfortable, the food was tasty and the daily schedule always allowed us some free time to rest and visit the villages where we stayed. Sanjay is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a lot of questions about Nepal and the Himalayas, thanks to him we learned many things about this beautiful country. Sanjay always walked at a comfortable pace so that we were never too tired at the end of the day and fit for the next. Rajendra is a very fine and strong you man. Even if his English is very basic we still managed to communicate with him and appreciated his company during the trek. We met Norsang again after the trek in Kathmandu and he helped us to extend our visa. We cannot thank High Camp Trekking enough for their kindness and professionalism. We highly recommend their services and if one day we come back to Nepal we will certainly do another trekking with them!
