I was born in 1977 and am the eldest son of Chheduk Man Lama. My journey in the trekking industry began in 1997 when I started working alongside my father, a successful and respected trekking guide. I studied at the Nepal Academy of Tourism & Hotel Management to advance my career and completed the Trekking Guide course and training in 2001. I am licensed and officially recognized by the Government of Nepal as a trekking guide and have been leading treks since then.
I am fluent in English and French and have received Wilderness First Aid training. I have successfully led large groups to various popular trekking destinations. I often venture off the beaten path during high-altitude treks in the Himalayas of Nepal to enhance the trekking experience. In 2002, I completed my first major Himalayan climb by reaching the summit of Island Peak (6,160 meters).
I am always ready to take clients to the Himalayas and can help ensure your journey is safe, enjoyable, and memorable. I aim to provide you with the best trekking experience in the Himalayas of Nepal. “Come as a client and leave as a friend!”
